[[Category:Hosting]] ==Relay Access Denied Error Message== <br> Hosting / Mail Related Issue: I get the error message "Relay access denied" when trying to use a forward with my hosting account. <br> Solution 1: This error occurs when only forwards are used an actual email account has never been set up. The creation of an actual email account initializes the email domain into the system. So an account can be created and then deleted to remedy the problem. Solution 2: This error occurs when "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication" is not checked in Outlook 2010. "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication" should be checked. This is found under the "More Settings ..." button.
